A.J. Glassberg is the Founder, Chief Product Officer, and Head of Innovation and Design at Novele, which he founded with the vision of transforming the built environment through net-zero digital buildings. A.J. wanted to radically change how buildings interact with their occupants and the world, driving a pivotal shift toward a more sustainable, energy-efficient future. A.J. designed the cornerstone product for this vision—the world’s slimmest, safest, and most scalable energy storage system, carefully tailored for urban infrastructures. With this breakthrough, he and his founding team created a completely new product segment, one that sits distinctively between residential and utility-scale energy storage, and acts as an integrated system that enables buildings to function as interconnected nodes within a smart, efficient urban ecosystem.

In an industry historically defined by industrial-grade solutions with little to no aesthetic consideration, A.J. has infused Novele's products with a level of detail, precision, and elegance that not only meet rigorous functional demands but also elevate the user experience. His design ethos is grounded in the belief that form and function must coexist harmoniously, transforming what was once a purely utilitarian space into one that inspires both practicality and beauty.

Prior to founding Novele, A.J. was a key member of the founding team at Incroud, where he served as EVP of Product Marketing and Chief Architect of Consumer Products. Incroud was acquired by Veriown Global in 2017. He was also a founding advisor to Gamma, which was acquired by Animoca Brands in 2018.

A.J. studied political science at Columbia University.
