Jakob is a multi-faceted business professional with strong commercial real estate and emerging technology experience.
‍

Prior to joining Novele, Jakob was Head of Partnerships at financial market operator Deutsche Börse’s digital asset arm, where he led a team of five in their evaluation, onboarding, implementation, and relationship management of strategic partners, including banks, payment platforms, & data aggregators.
‍

Jakob started his career at ABS Partners Real Estate, where he managed a portfolio of Manhattan commercial properties valued at over $500M. His responsibilities included leasing, asset management, and project management. During this time, he gained a strong understanding of building energy systems and how landlords evaluate cap-ex projects.

Jakob’s unique experience in the worlds of real estate and technology enables him to help Novele’s executive leadership team make efficient, informed, and scalable decisions.

Jakob holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from BI Norwegian Business School and an MBA from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland.
